Look here's the deal: Almost anyone
can own a home-based studio these days. They can even get good
tones sometimes. We understand that we're a little fish in a huge
pond. But what makes us different is that Ryan (owner and operator)
is not just a studio engineer/tech-head...he's a fellow musician,
songwriter, and producer.
What most up-and-coming bands need is not simply a cheap studio
where they can lay down tracks; what they need is a coach to help
them articulate what it is they're trying to get across...and
then help them implement their ideas in a unique, professional-sounding
way.
That's what we offer.
We are a full-service production facility, helping you with your
album/EP/demo from beginning to end. We can assist with pre-production
(songwriting, arranging, budgeting, etc.), production (producing,
recording, mixing, etc.) and post-production (art, replication,
mastering, etc.).
Our hope is to work with each client and help craft a recording
that is truly them.
The
studio is owned and operated by Ryan Lee Sharp at his home in
San Francisco, California. By doing it in the home, you'll find
a more relaxed, comfortable feel. None of this uptight, sterile
environment stuff. Who can be inspired that way?
Ryan works off of a decade of experience of producing, recording,
and playing. He has worked with such artists as Todd Proctor,
Timber, and several others. To hear clips of previous projects,

All our recording is done digitally on MOTU's Digital Performer
software in an all-Mac environment. We use great outboard pre-amps
and effects as to 'warm up' the sounds so they don't come out
sounding 'digital'. We also have a slew of digital effects within
the program.
To make it easy for you, we handle package deals where we will
design your packaging/insert as well. Working with our sister
company, SharpSeven
Design, we can custom tailor your art to match your music.
Our mission is to provide you with top-notch coaching/production
services at affordable rates and in a relaxed and inspired environment.
